About Dr. Shaker

 

Dr. Shaker has been living in and practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the New Hampshire Seacoast area since 1987.  He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1975.  He graduated from Emory University Dental School in Atlanta, Georgia in 1979 and completed a general practice residency at Eglin Regional Hospital (Fort Walton Beach, Florida) in 1980.  His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency was completed in 1987 at Wilford Hall Medical Center (San Antonio, Texas).  He was Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1989.

Dr. Shaker is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the American Dental Association, the New Hampshire State Dental Society and the New Hampshire Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society.  He is also a past president and current member of the Southeast New Hampshire Dental Society.  He is an honorably discharged and decorated United States Air Force active duty officer (Major).  He currently serves as an inspector for the New Hampshire State and AAOMS office anesthesia inspection program.

Dr. Shaker is currently on staff at Wentworth Douglass Hospital.
